A famous quote frequently attributed to Einstein goes like this: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.
With that said, how’s your life going these days? Are you dissatisfied with the results you’re having each day? If so, what have you actually done DIFFERENTLY to achieve different outcomes for yourself?
One of the ways to seek out that “different” way to do things is through meditation. Creative thinking often disappears as a result of stress – especially the stress of Caregiving. Meditation quiets the brain and allows creative thinking to reappear.
Try sitting quietly with yourself and allowing the stress to melt away for 15 minutes a day. During that time, set your intention to seek out a new way to do something–to do that something differently, or to do something BETTER. During these quiet times of meditation, trust your creative brain to come up with the solutions you need. Trust your own wisdom from within your soul that arrives during the stillness of your meditation.
(And don’t tell yourself you don’t have 15 minutes to give to yourself each day. That’s doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.)
